His voice is deep satin, loving and caring and sometimes comical. He is a humble man with a shy grin and sometimes hearty laugh, and he is Michigan country born and raised through and through. The audience feels every song he sings and they see how much they mean to him by his interaction with them from the stage. In fact, one of Walt Evans' biggest compliments came from the audience. He was performing at the world famous Nashville Palace with some of the legendary stars. His manager Carol was sitting at a round table in the audience with some of the legends, Jack Greene and Charlie Louvin who were seated on each side and the CEO of BSW Records, Frank Wilson, was also sharing the table. Carol will never forget as one of them said with the rest nodding, "That's who's gonna fill our shoes."

Walt Evans hasn't let them down. With his release of his debut album, Country Dreams, he has enjoyed a total of seven Grammy nominations and a number two spot from his song, Not On Earth, on the ECMA charts in Europe. Along with that, Not On Earth also went number one in the play charts in Denmark, Poland and Italy and it still is in the top twenty on the ECMA charts after many months. Walt has just finished filming his first half hour TV special which includes his hit song, Not On Earth, and his Grammy nominated song, Lookin' Back, that he wrote about his father after his mother passed away. Both songs are beautiful ballads that he sings from the heart. But it's not all about ballads, with his great vocal ability he can turn the next song around and sing you a rugged boot kickin' song that will get you on your feet.

Walt Evans is joined onstage with his band, Raw Country. Every member is as caring as Walt himself; they all share the respect that he does for the great legendary performers whose footsteps in which they are following. They all make the instruments sing to you and the passion in Walt's voice is there in every song because he has lived life just as his audience has and there have been some rough roads along the way. He is now being blessed for never giving up on the dream he kept inside and the world of country music is a better place because of Walt Evans and his music.
